In this video Krista shows us a simple drill to improve your lower body turn. Too many golfers sway or slide during their takeaway causing the club to get out of position and making it difficult to recover and hit quality shots.
Checkpoints:
- Place an alignment stick off your trail leg - You will want to position your back foot right up against the alignment stick
- Pivot - As you begin your takeaway, you will want to feel your hip pivot / rotate in and create more space between your hip and the alignment stick than there was when you set up to the ball
