In this video Krista shows us a simple way to get in the correct posture. A lot of golfers overlook the basics in the golf swing and by doing so they end up getting in bad positions throughout their swing. Having the correct posture allows you to get the golf club working in the right direction.
Checkpoints:
- Start with feet shoulder width apart -Get a nice solid base by having your feet shoulder width apart
- Work hips back - Start with your hands on your thighs and slowly work your hips back. Your hands should slide down your thighs towards your knees
- Fingertips to knees - Once your fingertips touch the top of your knees and your hips are back, you are in a good setup position
- Arms hang in front of you - Allow your arms to hang in front of you and this will be the starting point of your golf swing
